Author Guidelines

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously in any scientific journal, that manuscripts are not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any media during the review process unless the authors have officially withdrawn the manuscripts from the Journal. The statement must be stated in a statement of originality and copyright release form (Form A). The Journal uses Similarity Check powered by Turnitin to prevent any suspected plagiarism in the manuscripts.
  2. Manuscripts submitted are research topics that have no conflict with bioethical research.
  3. The journal is published 2 (twice) times a year (March and August).

MANUSCRIPT FILE

  1. Manuscripts are written in English and used standard scientific usage. Authors whose first language is not English should consult the manuscript with an English editing service before submitting it to the Journal.
  2. Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format, except for Graphs using Microsoft Excel program and Figures using JPEG or PDF format.
  3. Manuscripts should be typed using Avenir Next Lt Pro (11 pt) with 1,5 spacing line paragraph.
  4. The length of the manuscript is approximately 10 to 20 pages, written in A4 paper format, margins: top 2 cm; left 1,5 cm; right 1,5 cm; bottom 2 cm; in one column; 1,5 spacing line paragraph, justified (except for abstract, figure or table whose size cannot be reduced due to its readability, written in single-spaced). The manuscript comprises five main headings: Introduction; Method; Results and Discussion; Conclusion and Suggestions; Author Contribution; Acknowledgement; References.
  5. The title of the manuscript must be as brief as possible and must represent the content of the manuscript.
  6. Authors€™ names are written below the title, followed by authors€™ affiliation and e-mail addresses. This point must be written in the least of revision after the reviewer accepted the manuscript
  7. The abstract is written in  English or Indonesian, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract is written narratively comprising aims/objectives, methods, and findings of the research/article.
  8. Manuscript can use the STROBE method for observational studies, SRQR for qualitative studies, PRISMA for reviews, CARE for case reports, CONSORT for clinical trials (recommendations) such as CONSORT or TREND.
  9. Keywords: words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative of the article.
  10. Style Vancouver Style.
  11. The references of the article are in the form of journals and non-journals. A minimum of 38 references are required for the bibliography. It is expected that 80 % will consist of original sources and from an indexed International Journal, Reputed. These journal references should be accredited under the Scopus Q1, Q2 or 3 and Sinta 1, 2 categories which published in the last 7 years. 
  12. The manuscript must be written following the Journal template.
  13. The manuscript must be in *.doc and sent to the journal system via online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS) [click REGISTER if you have not had any account yet, or click LOG IN if you have already had an account].
  14. All Author(s)' names and identity(es) must be completely embedded in the form filled in by the corresponding author: email; affiliation; and each author's short biography (in the column of 'Bio Statement'). [if the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click 'Add Author' in the 3rd step of 'ENTER METADATA' in the submission process and then enter each author's data].
  15. All correspondences, information, and decisions for the submitted manuscripts are conducted through email written in the manuscript and/or the emails used for the submission. The status of the manuscript can be checked in the OJS by logging into the journal.
