Nursing Frontiers: Research and Practice (NFRP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal established in January 2026 by the Undergraduate Nursing Program (Bachelor of Nursing) and the Professional Nursing Program (Ners), Faculty of Nursing and Public Health, Universitas Prima Nusantara.

The journal provides an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, innovative practices, and scholarly discussions in the field of nursing. NFRP aims to bridge the gap between research evidence and clinical practice while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing global nursing knowledge.

NFRP published periodically twice a year, containing scientific articles on health and nursing specifically related to nursing topics. This Journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, scoping reviews, evidence-based practice reports, case studies, and scholarly perspectives.

Nursing Frontiers: Research and Practice was first published in 2026 and is regularly published twice per year (March and August).

Nursing Frontiers: Research and Practice accepts submissions throughout the year. All submitted manuscripts are reviewed upon receipt through a peer-review process. Published manuscripts are written in standard English.

Issue Description

Volume 01, Number 1 (2026) of Nursing Frontiers: Research and Practice (NFRP) presents a curated collection of scholarly works that reflect the dynamic evolution of nursing science and practice in contemporary healthcare settings. This issue brings together contributions from researchers and practitioners that address critical themes across clinical nursing, community and public health, nursing education, and interdisciplinary health research.
