Article Processing Charge (APC)

Community Service Journal (ABDIMA)

The Community Service Journal (ABDIMA) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the sustainable publication of high-quality, peer-reviewed, open access articles on community service and engagement.

As an open access journal, all published articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription barriers.

APC is only charged after the manuscript has been officially accepted for publication. Submission and peer review are free of charge.

APC Structure

1. Submission Fee: Free
2. Peer Review Fee: Free
3. Article Processing Charge (APC): Free

The APC covers editorial management, plagiarism checking, DOI registration, layout editing, online hosting, indexing preparation, and long-term digital archiving.

Payment Policy

Authors are required to complete APC payment only after receiving the official acceptance letter. Payment instructions will be provided through the journal management system. Delayed payment may result in postponed publication.

Waiver and Discount Policy

ABDIMA is committed to equitable access to publication and offers partial or full APC waivers under the following conditions:

1. Authors from low-income or developing regions
2. Early-career researchers and community-based collaborative projects
3. Articles published under special issues or institutional partnerships

All waiver or discount requests must be submitted during the revision stage and will be evaluated by the editorial board.

Ethical Commitment

APC policies do not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, in accordance with international publication ethics.

Refund Policy

APC payments are non-refundable once the article enters the production stage, except in cases of editorial withdrawal due to technical or ethical issues initiated by the journal.
