This study aims to improve children's language and social skills through engaging play-based learning activities. The learning process was carried out by applying the Mystery Box media, which is a learning medium in the form of a guessing game. The activity was implemented through an active small-group learning model that integrates various play-based learning activities centered on children (child-oriented learning). This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. The study was conducted at TK Islam Excellent in Bukittinggi City with children from Group B. The results of the study indicate that the Mystery Box game effectively stimulates children's curiosity, encourages active participation, and improves both language and social skills. Children showed enthusiasm during the learning activities, were able to describe objects using appropriate vocabulary, and demonstrated positive social interaction with peers.
